GDPR Statement (UK)

Under UK law, GDPR covers the legal requirements to protect your personal data that I gather using your treatment consultation form, which is your case profile during your treatments with me.

I also retain records of your payment details, via my card machine.
I keep these as paper business receipts and store them in a book for filing, that is stored in a locked box for safe keeping.
I do not handle any payments online, which keeps your payment details safe from from cyber theft.

You have the right to request that I send you a copy of the data I hold on you in the form of your treatment record.
If you wish me to do this, this is the only time your data will be stored on my computer. I specifically keep paper treatment consultation forms to protect your data from cyber theft. If you request me to send your treatment consultation form digitally, you authorise me to send you the relevant information.

You also have the right to ask me at any time to delete all of your personal information I have on record, I can of course do this, but it will result in my closing your case file permanently and no longer continuing with treatments.

I will never contact you with spam emails or unwanted newsletters, you will find my updates and news on my blog page on this website.

I do provide free aftercare advice post treatments and between treatments, this is available to all my existing clients free of charge.

If you request aftercare advice or advice on tools and useful items for your workspace, such as ergonomic aids, desks, chairs and so forth.
By asking for aftercare advice, you consent to my contacting you to send you the relevant information.
I will never spam you with unsolicited emails or texts. I only ever contact you on request for advice or information.

If you do not wish me to not contact you with aftercare advice, or to not continue sending aftercare advice you can simply ask me to not send you any further information by text or email.

* If you wish me to close my treatment case file for you, I will do so and delete all your data from my records. This will mean, however, that if you seek treatment later to continue your care elsewhere or make a medical claim on personal insurance later, I will not have any records on hand to help forward to you. (Sometimes, having previous case profiles can be helpful to corroborate your case profile history, to show a consistent problem or issue related to your claim)

If you have a private health plan I can send you digital invoices so you can claim the money for your treatment back. If you request a digital invoice, you are authorising me to contact you with the invoice.
